The UV filter is a mainstay of SLR lens'. Almost every lens i own has one screwed on it. But when i got this new DSLR (67mm) i didn't have any filters near that size. My local camera shop wanted 3-4 times what DX did for a similar filter, and since i just gave them all my money for the lens/body, DX saves the day once again. www.dealextreme.com
